the Pilot.
To provide for convenient, fast and an efficient service
for the Vessel clearance, all Port Operation Sections including
the Shipping Agents, are carrying hand-held VHF marine radios.
Additionally the Berthing Unit of the Port, could be easily
contacted on SSB radio, and Direct telefax for prior information
on berthing schedules. For the convenience of all vessels,
facilities have also been provided for the Shipping Agents
to have their own offices in the Ports Department administration
complex situated just outside the Port.
