Supporting Landside Services The Port will acquire Two (02) units of third generation Quay Cranes backed up by Four (04) units Transtainers at the yard, to service the fully Containerised Vessels which would be receiving priority services at this Terminal. To offer a high degree of flexibility, this equipment will be further supported by the latest ReachStacker machines which would provide optimal utilisation of available stacking areas with the minimum time delays. To ensure uninterrupeted service to the Vessels, the Terminal will have a fully equipped modern workshop which would have the capacity to support all of the new equipment. This workshop will be manned by experienced and factory trained personnel who would ensure minimum downtime for the machinery. The state of the art equipment in use, will ensure that fault diagnosis will be carried out with the minimum of delay. Thus providing for the demanding services required from these machines.
